As ANC 8C02 Commissioner and Chairperson Dion Jordan was involved in the development of the St. Elizabeths East campus in Ward 8. His leadership and advocacy were key in supporting the transformation of the site, which was previously the location of the historic St. Elizabeths Hospital. The development of St. Elizabeths East aims to bring economic growth and revitalization to the area, including the creation of mixed-use spaces, offices, and community resources.
Jordan’ s efforts to engage the community and push for responsible development helped ensure that the project would benefit Ward 8 residents. He worked to make sure that local voices were heard in planning processes and that the development would provide economic opportunities, jobs, and resources to the Ward 8 community.
Election Day is approaching fast and we’re making preparations. Make sure your voice is heard and your vote is counted!
